We have been enjoying the contents of our July Degustabox, and loved the Piri Piri Chicken made with it. Degustabox is a monthly subscription of a surprise tasting box, that arrives at your door with between 9 to 14 surprise food products.
Our July Degustabox was full of lovely products, drinks, snack, cooking seasoning and baking essentials.
Maggi recipe mix are a life-saver when you don’t have much time to cook and need some inspiration. The sachets come with a list of suggested ingredients and clear instructions. We received 2 of the following: Piri Piri Chicken, Cheesy Chicken & Leek Potato Bake, Oriental Soy & Garlic Chicken and Beef & Ale Casserole.
Piri Piri Chicken was the first recipe mix we tried, and we were delighted with the results. The chicken was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. The Oriental Soy & Garlic Chicken was very tasty too!
The selection of drinks was great, with soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. Zeo drinks in peach and grapefruit burst, citrus crush and lime zest. They are crisp and tasty, best enjoyed cold with ice cubes.
Hubby is a fan of cider, so he enjoyed trying Hornsby’s Blueberry Cider, it is fruity and refreshing, perfectly matched to the tasty popcorn in the box!
The snack selection was interesting, with delicious Portleybay Popcorn in the original Kracklecorn flavour, Chilli & Lime, and Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup. The combination of sweet and salty flavours worked very well, and we all loved the popcorn!
Special Tea from the Berry Company is rich in antioxidant and made with no artificial colours, flavourings and colourings. I tried Black Tea flavour, but it is also available in Red Tea, Green Tea and White Tea.
The Black Tea was enjoyed with Frank Bar in blueberry and chocolate. It is a nutritious snack made with100% natural ingredients, free from gluten, nuts, dairy and refined sugar. It is delicious and healthy!
Last but not least, our latest Degustabox also had some baking essentials, such as Dr Oetker Eton Mess, Dr Oetker Violet Crystals and Green & Black’s Dark Chocolate infused with citrusy flavours of lemon. I am looking forward to making cupcakes with them!
