Family Fun at Cineworld: How to Train Your Dragon 2

A family trip to the cinema is a must during the school holidays. It is a perfect place to go for some family fun, especially on rainy days, like the ones we are having lately.

We love going to our local Cineworld, that’s where we saw Smurfs 2, Monsters University and Rio 2. In our latest trip, we went to see How to Train a Dragon 2, a very funny movie in which Viking teenager Hiccup and his companion Toothless the dragon find a cave filled with wild dragons during their adventures. I won’t tell you what happens next, so I don’t spoil the surprise, but it is definitely worth watching.

The whole family enjoyed watching the movie in 3D, while munching on freshly made popcorn and enjoying a refreshing drink. Little man had a munchbox, with sweet popcorn, Capri-Sun Fruit Crush and Milky Way Magic Stars.

If you haven’t had the chance to go to the cinema during the school holidays, you can make the most of the last few days at home and pay a visit to your local Cineworld. You will be spoiled by choice, some of the latest kids movies on offer are How to Train Your Dragon 2, Planes: Fire and Rescue, The Unbeatables and The Nut Job.

Furthermore, Cineworld also offers Movies for Juniors, a discounted weekly screening of kids films, available in the morning on weekends and during school holidays. It is a great opportunity to catch up with films that you may have missed.

I’ve checked the schedule and this week you could see Maleficent, or watch the computer animated Lego adventure in The Lego Movie. From Friday, you have the chance of seeing Escape From Planet Earth.

Movies for Junior are available for £1.50 in cinema, or £1.35 if booked online via mycineworld. For more information, please check: http://www.cineworld.co.uk/whatson/category/junior
