Window Views and Landscapes #FrameMyView
I must confess I enjoy looking out of the window and find it quite exciting. You never know what you could find, perhaps you could spot a bird making a nest, a beautiful sunshine, or kids happily playing in the background.

I was challenged by The Natural Curtain Company, one of the UK’s leading suppliers and manufacturers of ready-made and made to measure curtains, to turn the view from a window in my home into a series of creative photos.
The creative challenge was inspired by Picasso’s window art collection, following a trip to Spain, where a simple window and the view out of it became a focal point around which to create a thing of beauty and intrigue.

This was my view a few days ago, lying on the beach in Sardinia, admiring the natural beauty of Perdepera Beach.
While I was on holiday, I took a few shots from our room window at the Perdepera Resort, to compare with my window view in the UK.

How I enjoyed sitting at the terrace, cooling down after lunch!
The temperature was very hot during our family holiday in Italy, around mid-30s, so shade was welcome when we were relaxing after enjoying some delicious fish and seafood.

My window view was full of bushes and small trees, I could spot lots of trees and nature around us.
We have since returned to the UK and we were greeted with showers and thunderstorms. Unfortunately I don’t live by the beach, and there is not much happening around my house.

However, when I got back home, I realised that my window view in the UK has some similarities to the window view in Italy.
I can also spot a lot of nature in the UK, by looking out of my living room windown, I can see some grass, trees and bushes. We don’t have the same sunny weather found in Italy, but at least there are trees to look at.
My favourite tree is the one that looks like a Christmas tree.

Somehow I never noticed that we had such a tall tree by our house. Perhaps I could decorate it with Christmas lights in December and turn the area into a magical Christmas garden!
My window view has been framed with the gorgeous Azure readymade curtains, the shades of blue add a touch of seaside and elegance to our living room.

I have really enjoyed taking part in the Frame My View campaign, it made me realise we have enjoyed many gorgeous window views, including a beautiful morning sunshine in Brazil, a peaceful view in the sky and a relaxing sunset in Italy.
I made a #FrameMyView Pinterest board of my own window view pictures and beautiful landscapes, including gorgeous readymade curtains that I would choose to frame my view with.
