Family Lunch at Caffe Massarela in Pearsons Department Store in Enfield

As a family, we enjoy shopping and dining out. Actually perhaps I should say that I love shopping and usually drag hubby and little man along if we are going out for a meal afterwards – gotta give the boys something to look forward to!

We were pleased to visit the newly opened Caffe Massarella in Enfield for a delicious family meal. It is located in Pearsons Department store, so you can stop by for a cup of coffee and traditional Italian patisserie after a shopping spree.

The Caffe itself has been designed with a lovely glass front, Italian marble counters and comfortable seating area, offering the area an authentic Italian look.

If you are feeling hungry, you will be spoilt by choice, from panini and focaccia romana sandwiches to stone baked pizza, salads and soups. 

The sandwiches, freshly made using their Italian artisan breads, are available on a range of flavours. I tried Buffalo mozzarella with vine tomato, basil and rocket on focaccia romana, while hubby had a chicken panini with bacon, Swiss cheese and BBQ sauce.

Little man tried tomato and mozzarella stone baked pizza, and really enjoyed it! You will be pleased to hear there is a daily selection of pizza toppings, while the pizza bases are sourced from authentic artisan producers.

|Hubby and I enjoyed our sandwiches, the tasty bread had a generous amount of filling, and it was served warm – just how we ordered. We had a side Ceasar salad, which had big chunks of chicken breast and deliciously crunchy croutons. Hubby enjoyed his lunch with a chocolate frape, while I had a refreshing mango smoothie.

After our delicious meal, we tried some of the delicious Italian pastries, in a selection of flavours, including vanilla, lemon and chocolate. They were very tasty!

If you are after something sweet, you will find fresh fruit tartlets, fresh fruit salad, a daily selection of dolci, traditional Italian pasticceria and a selection of freshly baked pastries. 

The whole family enjoyed our lunch at Caffe Massarella, the staff was helpful and friendly, the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. 

The selection of Italian pasticceria was a lovely ending to a delicious family meal!
