Healthy Breakfast Treats and Brand New LG Four-Door Fridge with Door-in-Door #LGisHonestlyHealthy
I can’t function without breakfast and honestly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I usually have porridge for breakfast, it is filling and keeps me going until lunchtime.
A few days ago, I was invited by LG Electronics to an exclusive cookery demonstration with the founder and creator of Honestly Healthy, Natasha Corrett, to mark the launch of the new LG Four-Door Refrigerator with Door-in-Door.
LG has partnered with Honestly Healthy advocate the preservation of fresh produce. The partnership coincides with LG’s latest refrigeration range launch, which boasts unique technology and features for maintaining fresh food and groceries in the home.
At the event, Natasha demonstrated three of her favourite breakfast treats for the perfect guilt free, alkaline breakfast: Breakfast Smoothie, Chia Bircher Muesli and Raw Hemp Fridge Bars – for the perfect guilt free, alkaline breakfast.
Breakfast Smoothie was made with peach, spinach, cucumber, chia seeds, dried apricot and water. It tasted fresh and nutritious.
The inclusion of Pure N Fresh helps to keep food fresher for longer while the Smart Storage System allows users to arrange the inside of the fridge in whatever way works best for them, allowing blenders to be stored in the fridge overnight, with all the fruit and vegetables, ready to simply add water and blend in the morning for a quick breakfast smoothie.
Raw Hemp Fridge Bars were made with dates, warm water, coconut oil, vanilla extract, jumbo rolled oats, desiccated coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds. The dates added a lovely sweet flavour to the bars, which worked really well with the crunch of the seeds.
Accessible with the simple push of a button, the innovative Door-in-Door enhances convenience and lets you quickly and easily take out frequently used snacks and drinks. The easy to open button is particularly handy when you have messy hands from baking and need to open the fridge.
Chia Bircher Muesli was one of my favourite, reminded me of spiced porridge. It was made using rolled oats, ground cinnamon, coconut shavings, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and dates, topped with fresh berries and bee pollen. I will definitely make it at home as a big batch can be prepared in advance, and you can simply take a portion out of the fridge each morning.
The Smart Storage System includes adjustable moving basket, tilting vegetable drawer, folding shelf and mini table, making produce easy to find and store The refrigerator also features the revolutionary Inverter Linear Compressor, which ensures considerable energy savings and a quiet performance.
I must say I was very impressed with the delicious breakfast treats, and how the stylish and modern LG Four-Door Refrigerator with Door-in-Door can help keep fruit and vegetables fresher and more accessible.
The photos above were taken with my beautiful new LG G3, I will be writing a full review about it over the next few days. At the moment, I am having fun trying the different features, taking photos and videos!
