Little Man’s New School #languageoflove
Life is so busy that sometimes we forget to remind our love ones how much they mean to us, how important they are and how much we love them.
Little man is starting at a new school today, I know he is looking forward to it, but he is also scared. When we found out that he was finally given a place at our school of choice, we were delighted, but we were not sure whether it was the right time.
We had just put our house on the market, we were having viewings and we were looking forward to moving to a bigger place, then suddenly we received a phone call asking whether we were still after a place at a great school by our house. Of course we want the best education for little man, but it means that we would have to postpone moving to our dream house for a little longer.
When we told little man that he would be moving schools, he didn’t seem too happy at first, he said: ‘But I don’t know anyone’s names, I don’t know where they are from, I don’t know where the toilet is. What if I have a question and I don’t know the answer?’ He seemed lost, but since we visited the school and he met his new teacher, he seems calmer and more relaxed.
Today is his big day, this morning he is going to his new school, and I hope he has a great day. I can’t wait to find out all about it when I get home from work.
La Redoute has recently launched a new campaign ‘The Language of Love’ to encourage people to share unspoken words of love and appreciation, and I would like to tell little man that I love him, and I find him an extremely brave little boy. He might be only 5, but he is not scared of asking questions, meeting new people, trying new things, and being himself. He is the sweetest boy, and I love him to bits!
Good luck on your new journey at the new school, I am sure you will settle down very quickly and love it!
What have you always wanted to tell your loved ones? Tell someone you love them, share the language of love.
