Celebrate Kumala Google Hangout with a Competition to #Win 6 Bottles of Wine
On Tuesday 14th October, I will be taking part in a live wine tasting Google Hangout and I would love you to join us. Since I will be sent some wine to try before the hangout, I think it would be only fair if I shared some with our lovely readers.
Kumala is hosting its second Google Hangout, an interactive and fun wine tasting hosted by its head winemaker, Ben Jordaan, who will guide us through a selection of Kumala wines while we enjoy the selection of wines offering comments and asking questions. I would love if you could tuning in to watch the online wine tasting and learn a little more from Kumala’s head winemaker, straight from the sunny vineyards in South Africa. I will be sharing the link closer to the time. But for now, you could enter to win a selection of the wines featured in the live wine tasting.
The wines we will be tasting are: Kumala Pinotage Rose, Kumala Pinotage Shiraz and Kumala Reserve Shiraz.
Kumala Pinotage Rose is a light-bodied, rose wine with aromas of fresh watermelon and berry fruits. Refreshing, crispy and long lingering acidity with well-balance tannins add to the fruit complexity and creaminess. It is best enjoyed when served chilled with salmon, chicken and seafood dishes.
Kumala Pinotage Shiraz is a medium-bodied fruity wine with red berry flavours, perfect with grilled meat and barbequed food.
Kumala Reserve Shiraz is a smooth, medium-bodied wine with warm spicy aromas, hints of ripe forest fruits supported by dark mocha ad cherry to give a long lingering finish. It is great on its own or perfect with beef wellington, venison and slow roasted lamb.
