HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop: The Ultimate Family Gadget #HPRoutePlanner
As you know, we love spending time together as a family and there is nothing better than a good family day out. We really enjoyed being off during the whole school holidays and ended up spending far too long driving around.
Little man is usually quite good in the car, as he is used to long journeys, our longest was driving from London to Lyon for Christmas. However I am aware it can get quite boring for him sitting at the back on his own.
Luckily we were sent a versatile HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop during the summer to take part in a very interesting ‘Are We There Yet?’ challenge. Together with our convenient HP Envy 4500 wireless printer that we already love, we were ready to keep ICCI (In-Car Child Irritation) under control during long journeys.
Before setting off for our family adventures, we printed some colouring in activities and took some crayons with us. Little man particularly liked Rio 2 colouring sheets and Turbo Mazes. We also downloaded apps to the Pavilion, such as Guess The Animal Sound app and Paper Planes app. If you have older children, I would recommend Air Hockey app.
Before leaving home, I explained to little man that he would be quite busy during the journey, with activity sheets and the Pavilion to keep him entertained, and I’ve never seen him looking forward so much to get in his car seat and get the fun started.
During the journeys, he really enjoyed discovering the different modes of HP Pavilion x360. At first he wanted to try the laptop mode, so “he could work like mummy”, then he explored the tent mode for drawings. The stand and tablet mode were very useful to play games.
To check the efficacy of the HP Pavilion 360x and HP Envy printer in keeping little man entertained and avoid ICCI (In-Car Child Irritation) during our long journeys, we were asked to keep record of little man’s behaviour in the tracker below:
As you can see by the tally above, little man was very happy during our long car journeys with HP Pavilion and activity sheets, and he even mentioned, “oh, we arrived, I didn’t even notice we were here” on our family day out to Legoland.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed trying the HP Pavilion, and since the challenge it has become our ultimate family gadget. It is perfect for mummy to work, for little man to play and for daddy to watch movies. The built-in Beats Audio are great for listening to music and videos.
It has an 11 inch HD-backlit led touch screen with 4GB DDR3 memory and 750 GB storage, so there is plenty of space to store your favourite photos, music and apps. We love the slim design and 360 degree versatility of HP Pavilion.
Apart from journeys, we have also been enjoying it at home. You might have spotted the gorgeous HP Pavilion on the Nick Jr Leap blog post, and Vitamin Water blog post.
At first we were a bit scared we could break it by changing from laptop to tablet mode, but is sturdy and flexible. We have been trying it for a few weeks and love it, however if we could wish for any improvements it would be to have a better WiFi signal and be able to play DVDs. Apart from that, the HP Pavilion x360 is a great family gadget, highly recommended!
The product was provided free of charge for review purposes. However the opinions expressed in this post are honest and my own.
