Meeting Storm Trooper at Star Wars Rebels: Spark of a Rebellion Preview Screening
A couple of weeks ago, we were invited to join the rebellion in an action-packed exclusive preview screening of the one-hour movie Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion. The day started with photo opportunity with Storm Troppers, followed by face painting and watching the new series.
Star Wars Rebels continues the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people.
The clever and motley crew of the starship Ghost is amongst a select few who are brave enough to stand against the Empire. Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, encounter colourful adversaries, embark on thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion.
We were invited by Subway to celebrate the launch of the six limited-edition Star Wars Rebels bags and trading cards to collect with the purchase of any Kids’ Pak. I must confess that, although we like Subway sandwiches and their choice of delicious fillings, before going to the event, we wouldn’t think of Subway as our place to go with kids.
The animated Star Wars Rebels series has started on Disney XD this week, and children can now go to Subway and enjoy a delicious lunch inspired by the series. In the Kids’ Pak, you will find a low-fat four-inch Sub in four flavours, ham, turkey breast, beef and veggie delite, Capri Sun Fruit Crush drink and a BEAR Pure Fruit YoYo, giving children two of their 5-a-day.
Each Kids’ Pak comes with one of six limited edition collectable Star Wars Rebels drawstring bags and one of six trading cards featuring major characters from the Star Wars Rebels series.
We all enjoyed watching the latest episode in the legendary Star Wars saga, little man really liked taking a photo with Storm Troopers and enjoyed trying Subway Star Wars Rebels themed Kids’ Pak. As a parent, I enjoyed learning that each Kids’ Pak count as 2 of your 5-a-day, and will be considering Subway for little man’s lunch when we are out and about.
I was under no obligation to write this post, we just wanted to share our experience. The opinions expressed are honest and my own.
