Small Victories that Make our Mornings #MorningWin
Our mornings are extremely busy, we wake up and leave the house within an hour. Every little thing makes a big difference. One could say that we should wake up earlier, but I strongly believe it is all about being organised in order to enjoy a stress free morning.
I put together our top 3 tips for a stress free morning:
The Night Before:
Before going to bed, I make sure that lunches are packed, bags and coats are hanging together, uniforms and school shoes are by little man’s bed.
One of my small victories is finding out that little man has already prepared his bag and coat in the evening, ready for the morning rush.
In the Morning:
I wake up 15 minutes before little man, so I can put the kettle on and start getting myself ready. Another small victory is when hubby puts the kettle on before leaving the house, so it is ready for my morning cup of tea.
Once I wake little man up, I prepare his breakfast and we get ready to leave home. It is lovely when little man dresses up quickly and we have time for a quick story before the school run – it puts a big smile on my face.
Breakfast:
I strongly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If little man wakes up late and doesn’t have time to have breakfast at home, I make sure he has a pack of BelVita on the school run.
I always have breakfast, and I keep a pack of breakfast biscuits at work, so I can have some when I get there. They are also lovely as a mid-morning snack with a cup of tea.
We’ve been trying the new flavours of BelVita breakfast crunchy biscuits, apricot, hazelnut and choc chip, and they are delicious. They definitely make our mornings so much more enjoyable!
What are your small victories? What are your top tips for a stress free morning?
