Trick or Treat: Last Minute Halloween Ideas
Yay, it’s Friday 31st October, so it means it’s Halloween!
Little man has been anxiously counting the days to Fright Night, and we are so glad it has finally arrived. We’ve been busy organising everything for the special evening of trick or treating tonight.
I know how busy everyone is at this time of the year, so in case you haven’t got the chance to stock up on Halloween’s essentials, there is still time to pop to your local Asda store. They have a lovely selection of spooky Halloween costumes, sweets and decorations.
We’ve decorated our house with felt skeleton and bewitched sign. We haven’t carved a pumpkin yet, so the petrifying pumpkin carving kit arrived at the right time.
In the Halloween sweets range, you will find glow stick pumpkin pops, scary skeleton milk chocolate and spooky spider jelly.
Little man will be wearing a spooky Skeleton outfit, complete with a pair of Wingflatables, the ultimate Halloween accessory. In case you haven’t seen Wingflatables before, they are lightweight inflatable wings that can be strapped to little one’s back.
Once you switch on the battery operated wings, they quickly inflate to reveal a beautiful pair of wings. To deflate the wings, you simply need to switch off the battery.
Wingflatables is available for kids and adults, little man has a purple bat wings, you can also find devil wings and angel wings. His skeleton fancy dress costume is made using stretch fabric, which is comfortable and can be worn on top of a long sleeve top, in case the temperature drops tonight.
We will be making a spooky popcorn marshmallow cake, thanks to KatchUp, a new photo and video sharing website. You can sign up for free or upgrade to a VIP membership, please feel free to use the discount code KUFF14 for 50% off.
KatchUp has collaborated to celebrity chef Charlton Antenbring to make easy Halloween snacks, such as batwings, chocolate eyeballs. Check out the video tutorial for more details on how to make Popcorn Marshmallow Cake.
