Cosy Toes with Shoe Zone’s AW14 Boots
I love a good old pair of boots, they are my best friend during autumn and winter. I am on my feet all day long, from the moment I wake up in the morning until when I get home from work in the evening, so it is essential to wear comfortable shoes during the day.
After a surprisingly warm Halloween, the weather suddenly changed and we were greeted by rainy cold days. Luckily I have been keeping my toes cosy and warm with Shoe Zone’s AW14 boots. This year’s collection has a wide range of styles, so you will definitely find your perfect pair of boots. You can choose from ankle boots, calf boots, knee high boots, quilted boots, wedge boots, biker boots and so on. You name it, Shoe Zone has it!
I mainly wear dresses and tights to work, so I picked my favourite pairs of boots online taking my work clothes into consideration. That’s how I have been styling my gorgeous boots over the past few days:
I wore my gorgeous Lilley Women’s Black Wedge Calf Boots (RRP £24.99) with thick black tights, black and white patterned dress and black jacket. The boots are very warm and comfortable with soft inside lining, perfect if you wear your boots for long periods of time like me. The wedge calf boots have a full length inner side zip fastening, featuring a large buckle and strap on the side.
My favourite feature is the high wedge hill, which is comfortable and stylish at the same time. I also wore the wedge calf boots with jeans and they looked lovely!
I wore the lovely Lilley Women’s Black High Boots with Cross Straps (RRP £24.99) with a pair of thin black tights and floral dress, with a cardigan. The medium heeled boots feature two silver buckles to the side, with a top buckle and a lower wrap around strap with a buckle.
I really like wearing the knee high boots with cross straps, they are very comfortable. However I found them to be quite loose around my calf whether I wore with tights or trousers. It would be great if there was a way of adjusting the straps, or if they were better fitted.
As two of my boots are for work, I thought I should pick a weekend style, suitable for long walks in the park with little man and fun family days out. The Women’s Earth Spirit Faux Fur Collar Boot in Brown (RRP £39.99) is ideal to keep your toes warm while out and about.
I wore the ankle boots with black jeans, blue jumper and brown leather jacket. The suede ankle boots are made with leather, so I am hoping they will last for a long time.
They are very stylish with faux fur trim and contrast cream stitching. They feature two buckle and strap features to the side, and inner side zip fastening. They are made for walking and enjoying the outdoors, they are extremely comfortable with a cushioned insole, and the soles look very durable.
I really like my Shoe Zone boots, the black wedge calf boots and black high knee boots are perfect to be worn for work, with my usual dresses and tights. While the comfortable suede boots are ideal for relaxing weekends.
