Quick Dessert for Little Angels #AngelDelightMoments
I was recently introduced to a new instant dessert that I am sure many of you already know and love. As I was brought up in Brazil, I had no idea Angel Delight existed until a few weeks ago.
We are delighted we have now found a very quick and easy dessert, which can be made with milk within a few minutes. Surely it might help with your recommended daily amount of calcium, but I’m not a nutritionist, so please don’t quote me on that.
We always have milk in the fridge and having a pack of Angel Delight in the cupboard is perfect for when you fancy a tasty treat.
Our Little Angel made some Angel Delight in bubblegum flavour by pouring half a pint of chilled fresh milk into a bowl, then adding Angel Delight and whisking until light and creamy. Then he left it to thicken for 5 minutes and it was ready!
He sprinkled white chocolate and pieces of strawberry on top of Angel Delight, and said it was ‘very very very very tasty’. Our Little Angel said that you can either have it through a straw or spoon.
Once it was ready, the whole family tried. Hubby was brought up in England and was delighted with the new bubblegum flavour. He said he used to have Angel Delight desserts at school when he was younger, and his mum used to make it for him all the time, so trying the bubblegum flavour brought back some lovely memories.
You can also use the sachet to make bubblegum milkshake by adding vanilla ice cream to the traditional dessert recipe. I bet it will taste lovely, so we should try it soon!
Do you use to have Angel Delight when you was younger? What are your Angel Delight Memories?
