Little man’s imagination runs wild and I never get tired of listening to his stories, there is always a monster, a baddie and a super hero involved.

Most children create monsters in their imagination, and a recent research by Philips and Disney found that the average household has more monsters than children and 82% of imaginary monsters have horns, while one in three are hairy or fluffy. Their super powers include glowing, breathing fire and doing all your chores for you – I wouldn’t mind one of those monsters actually!

I believe it is very important to create a relaxing and imaginative environment for little man, so he can feel safe to read, play and sleep in his bedroom. Like myself, one fifth of parents believe that lighting can have a positive impact on the quality of a child’s room.

It is amazing the difference lighting makes to bedrooms, such as adding softly diffused light and candle light to make potentially scary places more inviting, adding lights in places like under the bed and colours, and bringing stories to life with lights.

Little man has been creating his bedtime stories with the help of Spiderman Projector, a night light and film projector with three projector wheels and 24 images in total. It is very exciting listening to little man’ stories and how the project has been stimulating his imagination and creativity, bringing his favourite super hero to life.

The projector is very easy to use and little man loves placing his favourite wheel in the projector, turning the bedroom light off, and letting his imagination run wild with the Spiderman pictures projected on the wall.
