Truly Special Family Summer Holiday at Perdepera Beach Resort with Mark Warner (Part 1)
We were truly blessed this summer to have a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a sunny holiday in Sardinia with Mark Warner. If you follow us on social media, you must have seen our sandy feet pictures, blue skies and lots and lots of ice cream, swimming pool and beach photos.
I apologise for the gorgeous weather and the amazing time we had. Actually, I shouldn’t apologise as it’s Mark Warner’s fault for offering such wonderful family-friendly holidays.
We are an international family and have been to several family holidays, so we know exactly what to look for when we are away from home.
We got all excited as soon as we arrived at the airport and got on the charter flight for a two and half hour journey from London to Sardinia. British Airways flights and transfer to the hotel are included in the package holiday, it was stress-free and by the time we realised, we were at our dream destination!
Family Friendly Entertainment:
When on holiday, we love spending quality time together as a family, sunbathing and playing in the pool. Upon arrival at the Perdepera Beach Resort, we were greeted by the friendly staff at the airport and during our journey back to the hotel, we were told what to expect: a wide range of activities for the whole family, football for daddy, swimming for mummy, kids club for little man, and plenty more.
It is up to you whether you take part in any activities, but we will strongly recommend doing as much as you can and taking full advantage of the activities available
Hubby started the day with a morning run in the mountain before breakfast, then I tried boot camp one day, sailing lessons another day, wind surfing the following day.
The whole family enjoyed the aqua aerobics sessions, little man was even helping the friendly instructor Alice.
We were very busy during our summer holiday, simply because we wanted to. If you prefer, you can just lie down and relax in the sun. We simply wanted to try everything that we could during our week in Sardinia.
Perdepera offers a range of sailing and wind surfing courses with tuition from Royal Yachting Association instructors. I’ve never tried sailing or wind surfing before, so I signed up for the free taster sessions and really enjoyed!
If we were there for another week, I would have definitely taken the courses. The taster sessions made me want to learn more, and I hope to take on a wind surfing course in the near future.
Childcare:
The wonderful childcare team took great care of little man, he felt part of the group from the very first day. At first, I wasn’t sure how he would feel about going to kids club in the afternoon, however he loved it and couldn’t wait until the following afternoon.
Their fun-filled afternoon involved activities on the beach and pool, I would often meet little man wind surfing at the beach, or playing games in the pool. He was so content, that he was happy to wave at us and carry on playing with his new friends and childcare staff.
While we were there, we also noticed that older children and teenagers had a great experience with their groups too. They had activities throughout the day and always seemed busy around the resort. We were chatting to other families and every single one of them mentioned how satisfied they were with the childcare facilities.
As this post is getting quite long, I’ve decided to divide into two posts. Come back tomorrow morning to read the second part of our amazing family holiday, covering food and accommodation at the fantastic Perdepera Beach Resort in Sardinia with Mark Warner.
I was under no obligation to write this post, just wanted to share our experience. The opinions expressed in this post are honest and our own.
