Truly Special Family Summer Holiday at Perdepera Beach Resort with Mark Warner (Part 2)

I was writing about our fantastic family summer holiday at Perdepera Beach Resort with Mark Warner, and by the time I noticed the blog post was very long. I’ve already told about the exciting family friendly activities and amazing childcare facilities in Sardinia.

Now let’s talk about food and accommodation, which were equally fabulous!

Delicious Food:

Whenever we are on holiday, we enjoy trying new dishes and tasting local food. There is nothing better than waking up for a hotel breakfast, full of delicious options.

Perdepera Beach Resort runs on a full board basis, with wine, water and squash included at lunch and dinner. The food in Sardinia was delicious and tasty, from the morning buffet with cooked breakfast, selection of fresh fruit, pastries, juices and continental breakfast, to the generous lunch buffet.

Little man’s favourite part of the day was having a cone ice cream after his lunch, I’ve never seen him eating his meal so quickly, just so he could have his daily dose of ice cream.

Maybe I enjoyed a few ice creams too. Ok, I tell you the truth, I had ice cream at lunch and dinner time, every single day, and it was delicious!

The lunch menu changed daily, so we got to try different dishes. I must say there were all very tasty, I particularly enjoyed the range of fish on offer.

In the evening, we had the option of dropping little man at childcare for a movie and sleepover, while we enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately we don’t have our family close to us, so we don’t get any childcare help in England.

It was so lovely having the chance to enjoy a meal just the two of us, a rare date night without any interruptions from our son, asking thousands of questions.

Don’t get me wrong, of course we love our bundle of joy, but he is a little chatterbox, and being away from him in the afternoon and also during dinner time, made us appreciate more the time we spent together the rest of the day.

Some nights little man had dinner with us, other nights we preferred to go to movie club. Children don’t have to go to movie club, but if they choose to, they can have an early dinner, high tea at the restaurant, full of kids favourite dishes. Dinners were buffet one evening, a la carte menu the next, and they were both full of flavour and freshly made.

Comfortable Accommodation:

After so much fun during the day, we were shattered by bed time. Luckily we had a very comfortable room to sleep and rest. The terraced villas are built in traditional Sardinia style, fully air conditioned with mini fridge, safe and private terrace.

We stayed in a spacious double room with an extra bed for little man. It was really warm during our holiday, so it was refreshing coming to a cool room after a busy day in the sun!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Perdepera Beach Resort with Mark Warner. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, little man loved the kids club and movie club. We all felt that it is one of the best holidays we have ever been and we can’t wait to our next Mark Warner holiday!

We are blessed to have had such a wonderful summer holiday, it was truly special spending time together in sunny Sardinia and building special memories. A massive thank you to the amazing staff at the Perdepera Beach Resort for looking after us and making sure that we had a holiday to be remembered.

We hope to see you all again very soon!
