How to Make the Most of Your Christmas Holidays
School holidays will start in a couple of weeks and many families are counting the days to the long awaited Christmas break.
How do you enjoying spending the festive season? According to Winter Snugs survey conducted by Booking.com, one in three of us prefer spending the Christmas holidays at a Winter Snug. Although we love technology and seem to be always connected, Wi-Fi appeared at the bottom of the list of the top 5 essential elements we are looking in a Snug.
The most wanted elements over the Christmas period are log fire, stew, hot chocolate and large bath. I would be more than happy with a steamed pot of delicious slow-cooked beef and ale stew, followed by a relaxing bubble bath and hot chocolate with marshmallows by the fire, in a beautiful cottage with my family. Heaven!
According to the research, 74% of the British public want a log fire in their cottage, while 41% of women look forward to a steaming beverage like mulled wine in their cosy cottage escape.
We’ve never been to a cottage before, but they look so luxurious and comfortable. I know that little man would particularly enjoy exploring the outdoors during the day.
