TinkerBell and the Legend of the NeverBeast UK Gala Premiere
Last weekend we were invited to a very special screening of TinkerBell’s new movie, ahead of the official launch today. The whole family went to the UK Gala Premiere of TinkerBell and the Legend of the NeverBeast and had a great time.
When we arrived at the premiere, we were greeted by the fairies, and little man couldn’t wait to have his photo taken. Then we movie downstairs for some crafting fun, little ones had the opportunity to make their own fairy wings, and personalise with jewels and glitter. Little man loved making his wings and wearing them!
He then had some painting on his arm, a cute snowman. By the time we realised, the movie was about to start and we made our way to our seats. There was a special appearance of Mel C, voice of Fury before the movie started.
Little man couldn’t wait to watch the movie, he is a big fan of Tinkerbell’s previous animated experiences, Tinkerbell and TinkerBell and the lost treasure. The newly released Legend of the NeverBeast was just as exciting.
The new story explores an ancient myth of a fabled creature whose distant roar sparks the curiosity of Tinker Bell’s good friend Fawn, an animal fairy who’s not afraid to break the rules to help an animal in need. But this animal, massive and strange with glowing green eyes, is not really welcome in Pixie Hollow, and the scout fairies are determined to capture the mysterious beast before it destroys their home.
In this heartwarming adventure, Fawn, who sees a tender heart beneath his gruff exterior, must convince Tink and the girls to risk everything to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out. Little man got quite anxious while watching the epic action adventure, he wasn’t sure whether Fawn would have enough time to save Pixie Hollow.
Little man was pleased to see a boy Fairy in the movie. It was refreshing, and a lovely reminder that there are also boy fairies, and the beautiful story should appeal to both boys and girls.
I won’t tell you how it ends, but I should add that we found the film beautifully animated with bright pictures. The story line was very interesting, highlighting that we should respect animals, and how we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Instead of believing on what has being said about someone or something, we should look for the truth and try to understand the situation. The legend said that the monster would try to destroy the forest, but the reality was very different.
TinkerBell and the Legend of the NeverBeast is out at cinemas nationwide from today, 12th December. Little man has already mentioned that he wants to see it again at the cinema!
