How Do You Eat Your Breakfast? #BreakfastWeek
This week is National Breakfast Week, and we have been busy trying some delicious combinations of cereals to pick our favourite creation. Why settle for only one cereal when you can have your two favourite cereals together in a bowl?!
I truly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is essential to have a nutritious breakfast ahead of the busy day. I make sure our family has a delicious and balanced breakfast to start the day.
We were challenged to ‘Shake up your wake up’ by getting creative with Nestle cereals, we were asked to simply mix, stir or shake up our favourite cereal variety and name it accordingly. Luckily little man loves breakfast time as much as me, so we have been enjoying the challenge.
Nestle Cereals with a green banner, such as Cheerios, Shreddies, Shredded Wheat, Cookie Crisp and Curiously Cinnamon are made with whole grain, contributing to a varied and balanced diet. They are also fortified with at least five vitamins and minerals, such as B vitamins, calcium and iron, to help you start the day in a balanced way.
Once the cereal boxes are empty, we will use them to make games, similar to the homemade maths game memory game for kids that we made a few months ago.
Little man named his favourite combination “Cinnamon Shred-tastic”, which is half a bowl of Curiously Cinnamon with half a bowl of Shreddies, served with cold milk, and he said it tastes fantastic! He loved how crunchy both cereals are, and the delicious flavour created by mixing them.
