The start of the New Year sees all of us making a few changes, whether it be buying ourselves a gym membership to get fit or promising ourselves we’ll be a bit more financially savvy. January always feels like a new beginning, so what better time to reinvent yourself by getting a brand new hairstyle?
Take the chop
Altering your hair colour or getting a brand new haircut can make a huge change to your current look, and you don’t necessarily have to do anything too drastic. Mid-length hair is still very much in, and if you have long hair, just chopping off a few inches will remove those damaged, frizzy ends that you’ve let get out of control.
But whatever your hair length, if you don’t feel like making too big of a change, simply adding layers to your hair can add volume and help frame your face.
Set your look apart from the rest
The quickest way to change up your style whilst guaranteeing a completely different look is to change your parting. If you’re currently rocking a side parting, or tend to sweep your hair back, go for a centre parting to make a bold new statement. Similarly, if you already style a centre parting, try parting your hair at the side to create a softer, more relaxed look.
Switch up your style
