Fun and Healthy Lunch while Out and About: Subway Mickey Mouse Kids’ Pak
During half-term, we usually spend most of our time out and about, enjoying some much-needed family time together. I must confess sometimes it is difficult to find a healthy lunch alternative for little man.
Luckily he is not a fussy eater, but I want to make sure he consumes the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables throughout the day. I believe it is all about combining tasty food with healthy nutrients, so he enjoys his nutritious lunch, making lunchtime as enjoyable as possible for all of us.
A couple of months ago, we were introduced to Subway Kids’ Pak at the preview screening of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of a Rebellion. It was an instant hit with little man, he loved the food choices and collectable items.
Subway has teamed up with Disney to create the new Mickey and Minnie Mouse Kids’ Pak, celebrating the launched of all-new Disney Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts on Disney Channel.
A few weeks ago, we were invited to Mickey Mouse and Subway Tea Party where we had a sneak peek in the new limited edition Mickey Mouse Kids’ Pak bags, available in six exclusive designs, suitable for boys and girls.
The Kids’ Pak includes a Low-Fat 4-inch Sub, Capri Sun Fruit Crush drink and a BEAR Pure Fruit Yoyo, giving kids two of their recommended five-a-day, and comes with Mickey puzzles or decorative washi tape. With three Mickey and three Minnie Mouse style messenger bags to collect with the purchase of any SUBWAY Kids’ Pak, they are guaranteed to add fun to mealtimes.
At the Mickey Mouse and Subway Tea Party, little man also enjoyed learning to draw his very own Mickey with one of Disney’s star illustrators, watching the new episodes of Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts, having his face painted and meeting Mickey Mouse!
I was under no obligation to write this post, we just wanted to share our experience. The opinions expressed are honest and my own.
