Real Stories of Embarrassing Moments
We all have embarrassing moments every now and then. I must confess I am quite clumsy, so I tend to embarrass myself all the time. I got used to the fact that, whether I like or not, I will probably end up walking into something and bumping into things.
It seems that I am even clumsier when I try not to be, like when I am in a quiet place and try not to make any noise. I can’t change the fact I’m clumsy, I even joke saying that being clumsy is genetic as my mum is so clumsy – love you mum, you are the best mum ever, but you are clumsy!
A few embarrassing moments can’t be changed, we end up laughing later when we shared with others. During pregnancy and after giving birth, our body goes through hormonal and physical changes, our body shape changes and our pelvic floor muscles weakens. As a result, you can experience unexpected little leaks throughout the day.
It is a fact that the majority of women experience light leakage at some point in their lives, whether it is during pregnancy, after childbirth, during menstrual cycle, while coughing, sneezing, laughing, jumping or during exercise.
A video made by lights by TENA highlighted that minor leakages are much more common than we think, affecting one in two women in the UK. I’ve previously shared a quick fix kit to help avoid embarrassing moments. It has everything you need for tights and shoes emergency, stain emergency, and essentials to keep fresh from head to toe.
In the video below, you will hear real stories of four woman and their experiences of light bladder weakness. Although they might have unexpected embarrassing moments, they don’t let it affect their daily lives, they are kept fresh and dry with the help of lights by TENA.
