If you have met personally, you will know that I always have a smile on my face, I am usually a happy person and love smiling. I’m known for being cheerful and a smiley person, I believe “There is always a reason to smile and be happy!”.

As I smile most of the time (it’s kind of impossible to smile while you are asleep), I look after my teeth and my smile by brushing my teeth twice a day and regular visits to the dentist. I enjoy going to the dentist and I take little man every six months since he had first very first tooth.

Our local dentist practice has half term events in which children are encouraged to visit the dentist and they are given goody bags with toothpaste, toothbrush and stickers. Little man loves going to those events, he looks forward to them every time.

When I went to the dentist last month, little man didn’t have a booking to see the dentist, but they decided to see us both together. He didn’t mind at all as he knows he is always given a sticker as a reward by the dentist. I was surprised when my dentist said that my teeth were perfect, but I needed to look after my gums as, although they seemed fine, I had to start using an interdental brush as they are so close together and I could have gum problems.

It is great that there are so many options out there to look after our teeth and smile. If you are not comfortable with your teeth, and would prefer them to be straighter, you could go for invisible clear braces to improve your smile. They are known for improving the appearance of jaws and lips, as well as the smile.
