DreamWorks HOME Premiere in London and HOME Toys Collection by Flair #HOMEtheMOVIE
Tomorrow a new kids’ movie HOME will be released in the UK, and if your little ones watch kids’ channels, you must have seen the trailer.
Over the weekend, we had the wonderful opportunity of attending the London premiere of HOME, thanks to UKMumsTv. Our fun day started with a delicious brunch at Bella Italia in Leicester Square, where little ones enjoyed playing with the new HOME toys by Flair, followed by a tasty lunch.
Little man loved the movie, and even more as he has the new toy range inspired by the animated movie Home. In the collection, you will find collectable figures and plush based on the key Boov characters.
We were ready for the premiere with our Boov mood changing ears (RRP £3.99), which you can change the shape of your ears to show your mood. It is available in six different colours and there are 15 moods to recreate.
Together with Captain Smek’s Shusher Wand (RRP £9.99), little man was set for the movie. By pressing a button, the petals open to reveal Captain Smek, and sound and lights are activated.
HOME is the new 3D computer-animated buddy comedy film produced by DreamWorks animation. It is directed by Tim Johnson and based on the children’s book ‘The True Meaning of Smekday’ by Adam Rex. In the movie, an alien fugitive bonds with an Earth girl. The Boov are an alien race desperate for a new place to call home.
When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip, who is on the quest of her own.
HOME is such an amazing movie, it teaches little ones that we are all different and unique, however we are still very special. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human. While Oh changes her planet and she changes his world, they discover the true meaning of the word Home.
The range include figures, and little man’s favourite is the Colour Changing Figures (RRP £7.99) that change colour in response to heat and touch. They are great to play in the bath and little man has been enjoying bubble baths even more. There are also some cute collectable mini figure Mood Bubbles (RRP £2.49), available in a range of alien friends.
Last but not least, little man loves playing with Oh Animated Dancing Plush On (RRP £29.99). The soft and cuddly toy feature three different songs and four hit phrases from the movie, so little one can dance and play with Oh at home.
We loved the movie and playing with the HOME toy collection by Flair. The toys are beautifully made and great to remind little ones about the lovely movie.
