The Best Coffee in London

By now you must have noticed I am mainly a tea drinker. I really enjoy a cup of tea, but sometimes you need a good old coffee. When I am in a rush, I enjoy a cup of flavoured instant coffee with chocolate chip cookies. It is practical and I love the fact it can be made and enjoyed within seconds.

Other times I prefer to have a freshly made cappuccino from my coffee machine, with some delicious Belgian chocolates. They make a lovely afternoon treat, and suddenly make all my worries go away.

Although I enjoy having coffee at home, nothing compares to going to a coffee shop and relaxing with a cup of coffee. The whole experience is very enjoyable and I wish I had more time to spare so I could visit more coffee shops.

The Grosvenor has recently published an interesting article ‘An Instagrammer’s guide to the best coffee in London’ in the Nightlife column written by Giselle Wainwright. I found the guide very exciting, and I’ve made some notes of places to visit, so I thought it would be a good idea to check out my Instagram feed for coffee pictures.

It turns out that I mainly share photos of food, and I would say it is because I am far too busy enjoying my cup of coffee to take a snap of it.

A few months ago, I had an enjoyable afternoon with a friend at the illy caffe London in Regent Street. The delicious treats complemented the tasty coffee in the stylish surroundings. It is the best place for a catch-up with friends over coffee.

The best coffee in London has to go to Kamps Backerei Cafe at Tottenham Court Road. Not only the modern premium bakery has a selection of delicious pastries, cakes, sandwiches and flatbreads on offer, it also has a gorgeous cappuccino, made with Kamps signature blend developed with a British wood-oven roaster.

Furthermore, Kamps coffee is ethically and ecologically sourced, combining El Salvador Las Lajas, Ethiopia Sidamo and Sumatra Cherry beas – no wonder it is so flavoursome!
