Unique Dining Experience at All-in Kitchen
As a foodie, we love trying new dishes and, as a result, we are always looking for unique menus and interesting dining experiences. We particularly enjoy mixing entertainment with gourmet food, as tasting great dishes while enjoying yourself is always a winning combination.
In January, a special pop-up restaurant was launched in order to celebrate the new season of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour. PokerStars and Jones & Sons teamed up to create the world’s first pay-by-poker, All-In Kitchen.
In the innovative pop-up restaurant, diners decided the price of their dining experience by playing poker. They could pay, £10, £5 or nothing at all, based on the remaining number of chips at the end of three hands of poker, all compliments of PokerStars.
I would say paying £10 for a gourmet three course meal with cocktail is a great deal. The three course meal would usually cost £50 per person, so it’s great value, not to mention the fun that you would be having by playing too.
The All-in Kitchen menu offered a selection of mouth-watering dishes, inspired on the card game, such as Queen Scallops accompanied by Salt Baked Swede and Bacon Marmalade, 4 of a Kind of Lamb Chops, and Royal Flush of King Crab Thermidor. You would also find on the menu a sweet dessert of 2 Pair of Pear Tarte Tatin with Pear Caramel and Ice Cream to finish off your meal.
The menu sounds delicious and the dining experience seems unique. Due to the success of the first All-in Kitchen, there are plans to open up the pop-up restaurant again in the year. I will let you all know as soon as I hear any further updates. It would be a lovely opportunity for me to learn to play poker.
