I’ve mentioned several times on the blog that cows’ milk doesn’t agree with me. A few years ago, I went to the nutritionist and I was advised to cut down dairy from my diet and replace cow’s milk with a milk alternative, such as soya milk and almond milk.
Until I tried a2 milk for the first time, I had no idea that it was possible to have fresh cows’ milk without feeling any discomfort or bloating. a2 milk is real, naturally occurring cows’ milk that comes from cows selected to produce only the A2 protein, not the A1 protein found in the majority of milk.
As the A2 protein is easier to digest and kinder on the stomach, a2 milk can be enjoyed by those that usually struggle to digest dairy.
a2 milk has recently launched a ‘Welcome Back to Milk’ campaign, celebrating the rediscovery of the joys and health benefits of milk: it is a great source of energy and protein, full of vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients for busy bodies, growing bones and strong teeth.
There are three new ads, and my favourite is Playdate, which starts with mum Sarah sipping from her little one’s milk, which turns into her finishing all the milk in the fridge. As I usually sip from little man’s milk – simply to make sure that his chocolate milk is ok – I identified with this video. You can watch it below:
