Sing Happy Birthday to Win Some Dim Sum Tomorrow! #PingPongSingSong
We love going to Ping Pong for dim sums, we always have a great time enjoying their delicious food. Tomorrow, Thursday 28th May, Ping Pong will be celebrating their ten year anniversary with a very special offer #PingPongSingSong.
Ping Pong is giving away a complimentary dish and drink to customers that sing ‘Happy Birthday’ upon arrival. In order to take part, you simply need to visit your nearest restaurant in London.
The Ping Pong dish and drink combo will include a choice of one of the most popular dishes served at Ping Pong over the last ten years, as well as a limited edition ten year anniversary cocktail.
We visited Ping Pong Soho to try their special menu with favourite food and drink from the past 10 years and we were very impressed with the items on offer.
We had mixed game puff, a delicious combination of venison, wild boar and pheasant with yellow bean and soy in honey-glazed puff pastry, a favourite dish featured in the 2011 winter menu. It was full of flavour!
Another favourite is chicken beggar’s purse from the 2006 autumn menu. It is a tasty spring roll pastry parcel filled with chicken, mushroom, mooli and pepper, served with sweet chilli sauce.
Hubby tried the vanilla lemon and vodka cocktail, featured in the 2005 summer menu and really enjoyed. It is refreshing with a touch of fizz, finlandia vodka, lemons, vanilla and soda.
I tried Chinese mule, a deliciously tasty cocktail with a ginger kick, featured in the 2012 spring menu. It contains sake, finlandia vodka, limes and coriander, topped with ginger beer.
We all loved the exotic look of the seabass dumpling, from the 2010 summer menu. The beautiful red cabbage pastry is filled with seabass, prawn, water chestnuts and carrots.
On the menu, you will also find the usual Ping Pong dishes. Our favourite is char sui bun, we must order it whenever we visit Ping Pong. Hubby loves the honey-soy chicken wings with spring onion and red amaranth.
Our favourite steamed dumplings are scallops & shitake dumpling and chicken & cashew nut dumpling. They are simply delicious!
The special 10 year anniversary menu is available for a limited time only. Tomorrow you can try one of them for free, and for those who are feeling extra festive and are happy to share a short clip of their performance on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #PingPongSingSong, they will automatically be in with a chance of getting a complimentary meal for two.
Over 100 meals will be given away across the day! Winners of free meals will be announced via Ping Pong’s social channels. For more information, please check: http://www.pingpongdimsum.com/offers/38/Ping-Pong-Sing-Song
