Last year we had a great time at Taste of London, and we can’t wait to attend this year. Taste of London, the world’s greatest restaurant festival opens next Wednesday 17th June until Sunday 21st June, where Regent’s Park transforms into a foodie wonderland for five days of summer eating, drinking and entertaining.
Asda is one of the major contributors at this year’s Taste of London event and will feature a fantastic Asda tipi in an Argentinian style, featuring demos and sampling of their finest Wagyu and Aberdeen Angus beef in various recipes and forms, with wine to go alongside them too. There will be several celeb chefs from other areas of the show popping down to demo the meats and give their own spin on how to get the best out of the steak.
With the weather hotting up we know that summer is around the corner; and with it the return of BBQ season. But finding inspiration beyond chicken wings and bangers can be challenging. At this year’s Taste of London, Asda will be putting on the ultimate in BBQ excellence – using all British reared beef.
Step inside the Asda Extra Special Tipi and experience an authentic Asado Grill with demonstrations featuring on-trend recipes using the finest Extra Special Aberdeen Angus beef from Asda’s extensive new range. They will also be cooking and sampling their exclusive range of Extra Special British Wagyu!
Asda’s expert chefs will be on hand to provide tips and advice on the best beef recipes, their Master Butcher will be showing how to get the best cuts and you’ll hear the story and passion behind how they rear their beef cattle. You can’t have a steak without wine so come and meet Asda’s very own Master of Wine, Philippa Carr, who will be on hand to provide some delicious wines to compliment your BBQ feast.
So pop along to one of Asda’s BBQ demonstrations to sample something ‘Extra Special’ from expert chefs, or simply come in for a bit of respite during your hectic day and have a glass of wine with them. Our Extra Special Tipi will be the perfect place to rest your weary feet and enjoy a little calm from the crowds.
