How Would You Spend Your Spare Cash? #SantanDeREAMS

We love spending quality time together as a family, so our spare cash would go towards a weekend away, somewhere the whole family would enjoy, share precious moments and create priceless memories.

You might be asking yourself: ‘Spare cash? What spare cash?’

I am aware that living costs are rising quickly, utility bills have never been so high and petrol prices in the UK are one of the highest in Europe. It is hard saving money in the current economic climate, let alone having spare cash lying around.

However, thanks to Santander 123 credit card, we can get cashback on everyday spending, from visits to supermarkets and department stores, to money spent on petrol and public transport.

Not only you will receive the same benefits of a standard credit card, such as no annual fee for the first year, no interest on purchases for 23 months, no balance transfer fee and no interest for 23 months. By using Santander 123 credit card, you can also earn cashback throughout the year and treat you and your family to something special with the spare cash earned.

If theme parks are not your thing, you could perhaps treat your family to a meal out or yourself to a spa day? The choice is yours!

We used the 123 credit card calculator on the website and we were pleasantly surprised how much cashback we would get over a year. The calculator is very easy to use, you simply need to enter your monthly spend to calculate your cashback after one year.

By earning 1% cashback at supermarkets, 2% cashback at department stores, and 3% cashback at petrol stations and on National Rail and TFL, we would have enough money to treat our family to a weekend away at a theme park. Usually we go to theme parks in the morning, spend the day there and come back home in the evening, so we loved the idea of spending the whole weekend there.

We chose to spend our cashback money on Chessington, based on our wonderful visit to Chessington World of Adventures last year. We can’t wait to go on the thrill rides!

Our yearly cashback would be enough to pay for a 2 day pass at the park and one night at a local hotel with breakfast. How amazing is that? We would be able to treat our family just by using our credit card for everyday spending, at no extra cost. We booked our family weekend away and we are looking forward to spending quality time together, all thanks to Santander 123 credit cards.
