Christmas Party Outfit Ideas
I can’t believe December is only a few days away! It can only mean that the countdown to Christmas is about to begin and the party season will be here in a flash.
I love this time of the year, everyone seems so happy and I don’t mind going to a few parties and catching up with friends and family. I particularly look forward to our staff Christmas party, I can’t wait to see everyone after work for a delicious dinner and party games, I know it will be a night to remember and I would like to look my best.
I have been so busy lately that I didn’t even realise that our staff Christmas party will be next week. The truth is, I haven’t even had the chance to think about my outfit and accessories, but the clock is ticking and there isn’t much time left.
Decisions, decisions… should I wear a short or long dress? Sparkles or no sparkles? Black or colourful? Which type of shoes should I team up the dress with? How about accessories? Big and bold or small and classy?
Inspired by the list of 34 Christmas party dresses, with this year’s hot trends and party dresses styles, I decided to pick my favourite outfits and this is how I would wear them:
After much consideration and hours of research, my two favourite designs are: metallic cowl front bodycon dress and sequin and mesh plunge neck maxi dress. The metallic trend is high this party season, I really like both dresses and how they are embellished with sparkling sequin, but should I go for a floor-sweeping maxi dress or more figure-skimming bodycon?
Now, for the shoes, a gorgeous dress needs an equally gorgeous pair of shoes. I usually wear black heels, but someone once told me that you can’t never have too much glitter, after all, Christmas only comes once a year! My two favourite pairs are: ombre glitter pointed court hells and glitter t bar court. They could actually go with any of the dresses, they would definitely complement the outfit!
No party outfit is complete without some bling, I particularly like bracelets which are classy and make an statement, without being too big. While having a look online, I came across UNO de 50 silver jewels and love their gorgeous collection of bracelets, it was quite hard picking just a couple, but my favourite are All Stars bracelet with silver-plated square keepers and a triangular crystal and Snow tracks multi-row bracelet with silver-plated beads and metal tube shaped pieces. I believe they fit on my Christmas look perfectly and I could get that fancy style I was looking for with these original and fashion bracelets.
