SATs Revision and Stress-free Printing with Epson EcoTank ET-4500
It usually goes like this… Late in the evening, usually just before we go to bed, we remember that we need to print a document. Then once we look at the printer, there is no paper, the ink has finished, and printing needs to be put on hold until the following day. How frustrating! And I’m sure all of us have been through it once or twice!
Luckily the new Epson EcoTank ET-4500 features integrated high-capacity ink tanks which last much longer than traditional ink cartridges. We have been using our EcoTank for the past few weeks and the ink levels have barely changed. The refillable high volume tanks last around two years, you can print up to 4,000 pages in black and 6,500 pages in colour with the ink provided in the printer. Imagine not having to worry about ink cartridges or last minute printing for a whole 24 months? Now it is possible, thanks to the ultra high capacity ink tank, making printing not only easier, but up to 70% cheaper!
Little man is currently revising for his Year 2 SATs. I’ve printed lots of revision tests for him as the format of the national tests have recently changed and this year’s SATs will be harder than ever. We have also been printing activities to keep him occupied during the school holidays and anything that he needs. It is very handy having the EcoTank multifunction printer as we can copy and print anything we wish, whenever it suits us.
The 4 in one device is very easy to set up. You need to fill up the ink tanks with the ink bottles provided, wait around 20 minutes, then you are ready to get started. It is great for printing, scanning, copying and faxing. I don’t know anyone that has a fax, so I haven’t tried this feature yet, but I can say the scanning, copying and printing are great, and you can even print via WiFi, remotely and by email.
The quality of the printing is very good and I love the fact I don’t need to worry about purchasing more ink until 2018! I can print as many revision test papers as little man might need, documents for work, activities sheets and anything we fancy! I just need to remember to buy paper to keep the printing going for the next couple of years.
