Dads are known for being behind the camera, taking the pictures, and not in enough family pictures. I actually had a look at our pictures and they are mostly of little man, they are only a handful of dad. According to a recent research from PhotoBox, two-thirds of the UK parents surveyed admitted Dad takes the majority of family photos because Mum prefers it and half of photos on display in the home feature the kids and neither parents.
In order help put the focus back on Dad this Father’s Day, PhotoBox has opened a photo studio entirely run by children, aiming to encourage parents to feel more comfortable about letting their kids be the photographers.
We were challenged to re-create our own version of the Kids’ Photo Studio at home and the experience was very interesting. I must confess I was a bit nervous at the beginning, trying to control the situation, but as soon as we let little man be in charge, he had so much fun taking photos of dad.
They both loved the experience, we will definitely let little man be in charge of the camera more often! We can only just imagine how amazing it would be to take part in the PhotoBox Kids’ Photo Studio. At the end of it, they took a selfie!
