Ice Age Adventure at Pizza Express
Little man loves going to restaurants and his favourite meal is pizza, so he was delighted to be visiting Pizza Express over the weekend.
He was even happier when he found out we would watch the new Ice Age: Collision Course before our meal.
We both loved the new Ice Age movie, which sees Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapult him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. We laughed from the beginning to the end of the movie!
To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.
If you enjoyed the previous Ice Age films, you will certainly like this one! It’s a sweet movie which highlights the importance of working together and looking after each other!
After the movie, we took part in a pizza making party at Pizza Express in order to celebrate the new partnership with Ice Age. Little man already asked to celebrate his next birthday at Pizza Express, so he can make his own pizza with his friends.
This summer, Sid and his Ice Age friends are taking over the Piccolo menu, with a fun-filled Ice Age Collision Course activity sheet featuring puzzles and games. It certainly kept little man entertained during our visit.
The Piccolo menu is perfect for young children, offering three courses for only £6.95, including dough balls and a side salad as starter, pizza or pizza for main course.
Even if you are not taking part in a pizza making party, you can still choose what is added to your pizza, selecting your own ingredients, such as black olives, mushrooms and baby tomatoes.
To finish off their meal, little ones can choose from a selection of delicious desserts, such as chocolate brownie, organic fruity ice lolly or sundae, with a Bambinoccino. Little man had the Piccolo Sundae and loved it!
Needless to say, little man had a fantastic time watching the movie, making his own pizza and eating it. I also loved our visit, trying the new Hawaiian pizza from the spring menu.
I loved the combination of flavours: salty prosciutto crudo, sweet pineapple chutney, red onions, Gran Milano cheese and mozzarella with a subtle chilli kick on the premium Romana base. All on a white béchamel base with fresh basil, fresh parsley and chilli oil. Simply delicious!
