Luckily you can stay the Knight’s Village, set on the river in the woodlands of the Castle Estate, and make the most of your stay. The mediaeval themed lodges consist of a double bed and a bunk bed, wet room and shower with towels, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, cable TV, temperature control and terrace.

At dinner time, we had a mediaeval feast at the Banquet Hall: a skillet full of meat and condiments, including beef short rib, roasted pork loin, quarter roasted chicken, onion rings, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing balls, roasted root vegetables, roast potatoes, steamed vegetables and gravy. warwick-12

There is also a salad bar, soup station, selection of starters and desserts. What a delicious feast! After the whole day exploring the castle, you will appreciate such a mouth-watering meal!

In the morning, we had breakfast at the Banquet Hall and were impressed with the selection available: full English Breakfast, pastries, waffles, cereals, pancakes, fresh fruit, hot drinks and juices. We didn’t know what to choose!
