Star Wars Interactive R2-D2 Robotic Droid and Star Wars U-Command BB-8 Vehicle
I must confess I still haven’t got anything for little man and I also need to get a few presents for his cousins. Luckily I just came across these fantastic Star Wars toys by Thinkway, BB8 and R2D2, which I am sure will be a success with any Star Wars fan!
You might remember when little man met Storm Trooper at the Star Wars Rebels premiere, he absolutely loved the experience.
Little man also had so much dressing up as R2-D2 for World Book Day! We had a go at making a last-minute Star Wars costume. I should start by saying I am not a crafty person and not very creative at all! Little man wanted to dress up as R2-D2 so we looked around the house and found one of daddy’s chef shirts.
We were planning on sticking bits and using felt on it, but I am not sure daddy would be very happy. Little man then had the brilliant idea of drawing on paper and fitting it around the buttons. Such an easy costume, but little man certainly enjoyed dressing up as R2-D2. In our house, we love playing with Star Wars toys, dressing up as Star Wars and even reading Star Wars Books.
Star Wars U-Command BB-8 Vehicle is suitable for children aged 8 and above. Little ones will love interacting with the 40cm tall interactive BB-8, which features over 20 original BB-8 phrases from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
It can be controlled through the dual-joystick infrared remote, and it’s up to your little one to move BB-8 wherever they wish: forward, reverse, left, right and it has even a rolling and spinning action. You can interact with it through a built-in microphone and it has six different moods, letting you know whether it is happy, sad, frustrated, excited, worried or scared. How cool is that?!
Star Wars Interactive R2-D2 Robotic Droid is suitable for children aged 4 and above. It also has a remote control which allows you to program over a thousand action combinations using the 10 buttons. It moves in all directions, including walking and spinning actions. Not only has it sound effects, it also offers a special projection facility showing Princess Leia on the wall.
I love the fact both toys are very interactive and teaches little ones about directional language and how to program toys with simple instructions, making them fun and educational at the same time.
