What Matters Most: Family Christmas
We love Christmas and it’s definitely our favourite time of the year.
Growing up, we would get together with all my uncles, aunties, cousins and grandparents for a feast on Christmas eve – it was truly magical!
Since I moved to the UK over 13 years ago, it has become harder to see my family at Christmas. Although Christmas has always been special, getting together with our family at Christmas is an opportunity that we treasure even more now!
We have spent a couple of Christmas in Brazil with my family. It’s very different waking up in a tropical country on Christmas day!
The festive period is the perfect timing to spend quality time with our family, watch little man’s school nativity assembly and play as many board games as possible.
Usually guests stay at Holiday Inn Express during the festive season to visit family, however this is not an option when your family lives abroad.
Holiday Inn Express understands the importance of spending quality time at Christmas with loved ones, so they have launched the “What Matters Most” campaign to give winners the priceless chance of being reunited with their family.
Three families were not going to see their loved one that lives abroad this year, however they were surprised with visits from them at Holiday Inn Express Ealing. I would be very emotional if one of my family members from Brazil just turned up out of the blue.
