Beating Blue Monday with Tesco Takeaway Pizza #BlueMonday #TescoPizza
We love pizza and usually have a couple of pizzas in the freezer. They are great for a quick weekend meal, especially on Saturdays when little man has Greek school in the morning and drama in the afternoon.
Today is Blue Monday, apparently the most depressing day of the year: it’s raining and grey outside, Christmas is long gone, payday won’t be here for a couple of weeks and there is no sign of summer.
Luckily we were sent everything we needed to have a pizza party to cheer up our Blue Monday, including Tesco’s new range of sharing pizzas, which has been developed inspired by takeaway favourites.
In the new range of tasty 14” sharing pizzas for only £4.50. You will find Veggie Supreme, Hawaiian Deluxe, Mighty Meat Combo, BBQ Chicken Supreme, Stuffed Crust Cheese Meltdown and Stuffed Crust Ultimate Pepperoni. There is something for everyone!
We love stuffed crust and it is usually our pizza of choice, so we were delighted to find it in the range. The takeaway-style pizza is great for a family night in, followed by games and movies.
The Stuffed Crust Cheese Meltdown was simply delicious, with four mouth-watering cheeses: creamy mozzarella, smooth Edam, mature Cheddar and mellow Red Leicester. All beautifully layered over a naturally sweet tomato sauce seasoned with flavoursome herbs and spices. The crust is filled with a mix of mozzarella, cheddar and Edam. If you love cheese as much as we do, you must try it, you will certainly be in cheese heaven!
We also loved trying Stuffed Crust Ultimate Pepperoni with a tomato based with creamy mozzarella and mature Cheddar cheese, topped with sliced pepperoni full of scrumptious smoky flavours. Simply delicious!
Not that we need a reason to eat pizza, but the Takeaway-style pizzas have certainly helped to beat Blue Monday and we are looking forward to trying other flavours from the range!
We were sent a Pizza Party kit, however the opinions expressed in this post are honest and our own.
