New Children’s Show: Rusty Rivets on Nick Jr #RustyRivetsUK
As you may have noticed, this afternoon we took part in a fantastic twitter party with UKMumsTv to launch the new TV show Rusty Rivets.
There were plenty of opportunities to win prizes while joining in the fun!
From the creators of PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets follows Rusty, a 21st century kid hero who always saves the day by relying on his imagination and incredible resourcefulness. Our party was full of great games, such as memory card, treasure hunt, building and colouring in, as well as getting to know the characters.
The children loved turning over each card of the memory game and learning a new character’s name. It got them all excited for the show!
The colouring in sheet was also a success too! It definitely kept the children entertained while completing the activities and picking the right colours for Botasaur.
Once Rusty Rivets started on Nick Jr, the children were focused on the new show, which is inspired by the DIY culture of the maker movement. Not only is it beautifully made, it always helps young children gain confidence and fuel their creativity.
Rusty and his friends go on adventures to help solve problems for their friends: Ruby, a robotic tyrannosaurid named Botasaur and a group of smaller robots called The Bits. It’s lovely to see them inventing, creating and problem solving together, which has inspired little man and his friends to get busy and do the same.
Overall, our party was a success and the children had such a fantastic time! It went by really quickly. As they say, time flies when you are having fun!
We can’t wait to watch Rusty Rivets tomorrow! New episodes of Rusty Rivets can be watched weekdays at 5:30pm on Nick Jr.
