Sign up Today for Free Tennis Sessions in the UK #TennisForKids

As a family, we enjoy getting active together whenever we have some free time, whether it is going to our local park, riding a bicycle or swimming.

Although hubby is a big tennis fan, little man has never picked up a racket before. I have only played tennis once before, during a family holiday to Sardinia a couple of years ago. I wasn’t too bad and would love to play again.

As tennis is a great fun-filled family activity, it would be great to get little man into tennis so we could have some quality time playing together. When I heard about the #TennisForKids programme, I was immediately interested as it is designed to introduce children to tennis.

The project, sponsored by The Lawn Tennis Association, offers 20,000 places across the country, so children between 5 and 8 years old can sign up for free tennis sessions and learn more about tennis. We have booked our free six-week introductory tennis course at our local tennis club and can’t wait to our sessions in June and July.

At the end of the programme, little man will be given a free tennis racket to keep, which we will use to carry on playing tennis. I love the fact there is no obligation and the signing up form is easy and straightforward. We could pick whichever timing and location suited us the most. Even though little man already attends a few after-school activities, it was easy to find a session which suited our busy family schedule.

The course is run by specially trained coaches and ideal for children which are new to tennis. It’s great that parents are encouraged to get involved and get on court with their children during the sessions. Both hubby and I are looking forward to playing with little man!

I’m working in a paid relationship with the Lawn Tennis Association on their #TennisForKids campaign. Sign up for your FREE tennis activity here
