The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul in cinemas now!
We love going to the cinema and always have a great time watching a movie together as a family. Little man is a big fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series, so he was looking forward to watching the new movie, which is in cinemas nationwide from this weekend.
As we love travelling and were on a long journey to France only a few weeks ago, we could totally sympathise with the characters in the film. In Diary of a Wimpy Kids: The Long Haul, based on the record-breaking book series, a family road trip to attend Meemaw’s 90th birthday party is full of adventures and moments that any family will identify themselves with.
Little man is a natural performer and really enjoys showing off his performing skills. At Easter, he was delighted to be chosen as the main character of the Easter production at his school. He really enjoyed his role as Jesus and, needless to say, I was very proud of him. In the film, Greg’s newest scheme to become famous was little man’s favourite part. It definitely made him think twice whether he still wants to become famous as things are not as easy as they may seem.
We have thoroughly enjoyed watching The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. It reminded us of the fun moments we had together as a family and how much we love each other, even though we might not get a long all the time.
The movie starring Jason Ian Drucker, Charlie Wright, Owen Asztalos, Tom Everett Scott and Alicia Silverstone is a family must-watch, and great family day out this half-term. Such a hilarious movie, you will certainly be laughing the whole time! 🙂
