Deliciously Tasty and Light New PizzaExpress Leggera range

Whenever we go to PizzaExpress, we always have a great time at the restaurant, whether it is trying a new pizza or  making my own pizza at a pizza party. Their supermarket range is always a hit with our family, we love the frozen PizzaExpress range available at Iceland.

We are big fans of PizzaExpress and their deliciously crispy base, so we were delighted to find out about the new Leggera range, launched this month in selected supermarkets.

It is the ideal lunch for one, full of flavour and made with fresh ingredients, served on a multigrain base.

The new lighter range is available in three mouth-watering flavours: Chicken & Vegetable, Prawn & Broccoli, and Squash, Kale & Goat’s Cheese. There is a flavour for everyone, whether you are a meat lover, seafood enthusiastic or vegetarian.

The Chicken & Vegetable is a mouth-watering combination of chicken with a mix of aubergine, peppers, semi dried tomatoes and basil pesto on the Leggera base.

The mozzarella cheese adds a delicious flavour to the pizza. It was little man’s favourite!

Hubby was a big fan of Prawn & Broccoli, with spinach, rocket pesto and béchamel sauce on the Leggera base. Hubby particularly liked the béchamel sauce, which added a deliciously creamy flavour to the pizza.

My favourite was Squash, Kale & Goat’s Cheese, as I really like the creaminess of goat’s cheese. The delicious combination of butternut squash, kale, goat’s cheese with red onion, rosemary and thyme is very flavoursome

Overall, the whole family has really enjoyed trying the new Leggera base and we absolutely love the crispy base. We also love the fact it is a lighter alternative and it is perfect with a fresh salad. We will definitely stock up on a few more Leggera in our next grocery shopping.

Which one would you try first?
