Family Meal Sharing La Famiglia Bowl at Prezzo

We absolutely treasure every opportunity we have to spend together, sharing priceless moments, laughing and enjoying each other’s presence. Hubby and I were brought up in families that literally have a dish for every occasion.

Whenever we go to Cyprus or Brazil, there are countless opportunities to enjoy delicious meals with our loved ones. As soon as we land in Cyprus, we are greeted with a hot bowl of traditional Cypriot soup, avgolemoni soupa, which is a egg, lemon and chicken soup.

Growing up in Brazil, my parents would always have a big dish in the centre of the table and my mum would serve each one of us.

Last summer, we loved our experience at Prezzo, so we couldn’t wait to visiting it again, checkign out the new dishes on offer.

During our recent visit to Prezzo, we tried the new La Famiglia sharing pasta bowl, which reminded me of my childhood meals. It was like eating at home, with dishes in the middle of the table that we could help ourselves to.

The new La Famiglia sharing dish is available as a choice of a bowl of Penne Arrabiata, Spaghetti Bolognese, Spaghetti Carbonara or Penne Alla Rusticanna. As the name of the dish suggests, it is big enough to feed a family of up to four people.

We went for Spaghetti Carbonara and it was a success with the whole family.

As soon as the huge bowl of food was placed in the middle of the table, hubby started dishing it out in our bowls. We also ordered garlic bread with mozzarella, mixed salad and a portion of chips.

We had such a fantastic experience! I love the fact we didn’t have to worry about what to order, whether our food would arrive at the same time as little man’s meal, whether the portion would be too big or too small.

As we could portion ourselves, we could dish out as much or as little to our plates as we wanted, which was one of the highlights of our meals.

Not only is the sharing bowl stress-free and convenient, it is also great value, meaning that families can enjoy eating out even more often now.

After our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing dessert, each one of us tried a different flavour: melon and lemon sorbet, blood orange sorbet, chocolate and sea salt ice cream and strawberry ice cream. They were all delicious and a perfect ending to our fantastic family meal.

Which La Famiglia sharing bowl would you like to try?
