Celebrating the Festive Season at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
We love the festive season, it’s definitely our favourite time of the year. Every year we go to Winter Wonderland and it was no different this year. The whole family looked forward to our visit, going to the circus and on the rides and simply walking around Winter Wonderland and enjoying the beautiful Winter scene.
Our day at Winter Wonderland started by attending Mr Men and Little Miss Show, new for 2019, which is staged at the MegaDome at 11am daily. Our toddler really enjoyed the show, and it was the 45 minutes long is just the right length for young children.
Our next stop was at the Magical Ice Kingdom, a new walk-through attraction for 2019 featuring beautifully crafted world of snow and ice sculptures.
We all appreciated the wonderful sculptures based on Charles Dickens’ traditional story of “A Christmas Carol” in which Scrooge was taught the real meaning of Christmas. Wrap up warm as it’s freezing inside!
One of our family’s favourite attraction was Zippos Christmas Circus, featuring wonderful acrobatic skills, circus acts and clowns. The entertaining show, hosted by Ringmaster Paul Winston, lasts just under an hour and we all loved every minute of it.
The whole family also enjoyed the rides, suitable for toddlers, older children, teens and adults. There is something for everyone.
After our busy day, we stopped to grab something to eat. There is a wide selection of food and drink stalls available. Whenever we go to Winter Wonderland, we need to have one of their delicious hot dogs and burgers. It was just as nice as we remembered!
We also enjoyed a ride in the New Giant Wheel, which is the highest portable observational wheel in the world. From 70 metres up high, we could see London’s skyline, Hyde Park and Winter Wonderland. The view was spectacular!
Overall, we had an unforgettable day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you very much to Zippos Circus for inviting us and for such a wonderful family day!
We were invited to attend Winter Wonderland, however the opinions expressed in this post are honest and our own.
