Slim.Fast 3-2-1 Plan Update: Day 8

Last week hubby started following a Slim.Fast diet plan and that’s how he got on in the past 7 days.

On the first day, he felt quite hungry, but he was able to stick to the plan. He started on Tuesday soon after the bank holiday, we had a BBQ feast on Sunday and a picnic on Monday, so his body had a bit of a shock when the diet started and his portions decreased.

On the second day, hubby was still feeling hungry and, if I dare say, he was a bit angry too. However he was still following his diet plan and he got through the second day – which was the hardest day of the diet.

By the third day, hubby had a smile back on his face, it was nice to see him a good mood again! He was getting used to the smaller portions and he mentioned that he was starting to get used to having shakes for breakfast.

By the fourth day, hubby made a Slim.Fast shake blended with ice and he was impressed how nice it tasted. He came home from work telling me how lovely it was. Since that day, he’s been blending his shakes, the vanilla one is his favourite.

By the fifth day, hubby could start feeling better and slimmer, he had the willpower to turn down a hotdog when going out to watch a basketball game. He was very proud of himself!

By the sixth day, hubby realised that the meal replacement bars tasted nice, however they are not as filling as the shakes. He mentioned that he feels satisfied after having a shake for breakfast, a few minutes after drinking it, he feels full. The chocolate crunch bar goes nicely with a cup of tea for breakfast.

By the seventh day, hubby noticed that he is now having a more balanced diet. Although he is missing hot meals, he is still enjoying one balanced meal at day. He had oven-baked chicken kiev with boiled new potatoes and broccoli.

Hubby’s words about Slim.Fast: “It is all about getting used to eating properly and at regular intervals, as opposed to eating all the time. I am a chef and I could easily pick all day long while working in the kitchen. Slim.Fast also helps you to think about what you are going to eat, instead of having a chocolate as a snack, I am now having a piece of fruit, carrot sticks or a Slim.Fast snack bar. So far, my Slim.Fast diet plan is a success!”

Overall, hubby is very impressed how well Slim.Fast works once you follow the plan correctly and stick to the diet. He is over the moon he has lost a whole 3kgs so far and he is looking forward to weighing himself again next week at the end of the 2 week challenge!
