Family Fun at Blackpool Tower

A couple of weeks ago, we finally had the chance to visit Blackpool for the very first time. We were hoping to visit during June half-term, however it didn’t go according to plan, so we ended up visiting during the summer holidays. We had a Road Trip: London – Warrington – Blackpool, where we enjoyed sightseeing in Blackpool and spending the day at Pleasure Beach.

Blackpool Tower offers five great attractions: The Blackpool Tower Eye, The Blackpool Tower Circus, The Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Jungle Jim’s and The Blackpool Tower Dungeon.

The Blackpool Tower Eye
The Blackpool Tower Eye

Our day at Blackpool Tower started at The Blackpool Tower Eye. Before we were taken to the top of the tower, we enjoyed a short film in a 4D cinema experience with sensory effects bringing Blackpool to life. We loved the views from the tower, looking out at the beach and cars underneath us through the glass floor.

We then went to The Blackpool Tower Ballroom which is famous for its unique dance floor and spectacular architecture. We enjoyed watching the couples dancing to the sounds of the famous Wurlitzer organ. It was a relaxing experience!

The Blackpool Tower Circus

The whole family had a fun time at The Blackpool Tower Circus where the clowns took us on a fabulous journey Around the World with Mooky and Boo. We always have a great time at the circus and it was no different this time. The juggling and acrobats were amazing, the jokes were funny and we all enjoyed our time at the circus.

Jungle Jims
Jungle Jims

After a busy day, mummy and daddy relaxed, while little man played at the indoor play Jungle Jims, which is an ultimate indoor adventure playground for kids, set within an amazing themed “Lost City”. Little man had fun climbing, sliding and swinging, while we waited at the cafe area.

The Blackpool Tower

We had a great time at the Blackpool Tower, the whole family enjoyed a fun-filled day and we look forward to visiting Blackpool again soon! For more information and to book tickets, please visit: http://www.theblackpooltower.com/
