Wake Up for Breakfast with McCain Hash Brown
McCain is well known for their yummy chips, we have previously tried McCain Chips 5% Fat and McCain Caribbean Wedges, they were lovely!
McCain also has a breakfast range with delicious Hash Browns which have been totally redeveloped and repackaged this summer. Hash Browns are the perfect accompaniment to a sumptuous cooked breakfast – or any meal for that fact!
McCain Hash Browns are crispy and chunky hash browns that have been specially prepared with a tasty new recipe filling them with flavour, they are classic breakfast potato simply prepared with sunflower oil.
The lovely people at McCain sent us everything we needed to have breakfast in bed with the hash browns. I must say I enjoy having a lie-in on weekends, I usually stay in bed a bit longer, so having breakfast in bed was a great excuse to enjoy my bed for a few more minutes.
McCain Hash Browns are only 190 calories per serving and scrub up really well on the packaging traffic lights with two out of four greens, they are low in saturated fat and sugar. They are very easy to make, they just need to be put in the over for 18 to 20 minutes until they are crisp and light golden.
We enjoyed our McCain Hash Brown as part of a full English Breakfast with sausages, bacon, mushroom, baked beans, boiled eggs and toast. It was very tasty and the whole family enjoyed it! McCain Hash Brown are full of flavour, we don’t usually have hash browns with our English Breakfast, but from now on we will be having McCain Hash Brown.
Mccain Hash Browns are available in all major retailers at RRP £1.65 for a 700g bag.
