#Sweeet Treats from McVitie’s
By now, you might have guessed I love a good old cup of tea with a biscuit or two. Whether it is mid-morning, after lunch, mid-afternoon or in the evening, tea tastes so good, and it is even better with a few crunchy biscuits.
We were sent a lovely package with our favourite McVitie’s biscuits, Digestive, Chocolate Digestive and Jaffa Cakes. We buy digestive and chocolate digestive biscuits on a regular basis, so we were delighted to receive them and enjoy with a cup of tea.
Once upon a time, I wrote on the blog ‘Is it tea time yet? I think so as it is 5pm! I love a cup of tea, and tea calls for a biscuit or two (or maybe more!) – the lovely people at McVitie’s actually framed it and sent it to us, together with a personalised Lilinha Angel’s World biscuit tin.
The delicious wheatmeal biscuits disappeared very quickly, both original version and the ones covered in milk chocolate, they were just too nice to let them sit in the biscuit tin.
The Jaffa Cakes were very tasty too, all 12 light sponge cakes with dark crackly chocolate and smashing orangey centre were tried, tested and loved. Little man had quite a few of them and he was surprised when there was nothing left in the pack. So if I had to make one comment, it would be that 12 biscuits are not enough – perhaps I should pick up a bigger box on our next grocery shopping, or just hide it from little man!
