My Little Spider-Man and Philips Marvel Spider-Man Light #PlayTheHero
Every little boy (and girl) dreams of being a superhero and having super powers. Little man is no different, he loves dressing up and pretending to be his favourite hero.
Little man plays the hero by dressing up as Spider-Man and saving the world with one of his imaginary super powers. Sometimes he can climb using his webs, just like Spider-Man, while other times he can fly and he can even be invisible, depending on his mission. Basically, little man can do anything, he can be as creative as he wishes, and he will always have a super power to match his creativity!

Philips and Marvel have collaborated to create an exciting new range of children’s bedroom lights to inspire their imagination as they play.
In the new Spider-Man themed light range, you will find projector Spider-Man, wall light Spider-Man, pendant and table light Spider-Man, flash light Spider-Man and night light Spider-Man.

We were sent a gorgeous Pendant and Table Light Spider-Man (RRP £34.99), which is beautiful lampshade perfect to make children’s room fit for a crime fighter, adding ambiance and adventure.
I really like the child-safe design including a cool-touch soft LED light and switch, while little man loves having his favourite hero in his bedroom. The Philips and Marvel lamp is ideal for bedside desk and tables, featuring a soft warm white light, which lights up the room with a cosy and warm light, perfect during bedtime stories.
To add to the excitement, Philips is also inviting mums and dads to send in their children’s stories. They will be picking the best ones and turning them into an illustration as well as entering them in for a chance to win even more prizes.
- 1st prize: A Spider-man bedroom party and customized Marvel animation
- 2nd prize: 1 of 20 x Philips Marvel Spider-Man light
- 3rd prize: 1 of 10 x Spider-Man bedroom prints
All you need to do is just make sure you post your story (it can be written, recorded or even be a picture) to Twitter or Facebook, and include the hashtag #PlaytheHero . You can see that people have already started to submit their stories, but hurry as it closes on Monday 9th June. Good luck!
