We love ice skating, it is always exciting and reminds us that the festive season has begun. Last year, we took little man ice skating and he enjoyed it, so we were looking forward to some more ice skating 9 family fun this year.
Nothing like ice skating while listening to festive songs, and that’s exactly what we experienced at Wembley Park Ice Rink a few days ago. Wembley Park, home to London Designer Outlet, has opened its first ice rink on 14th November until 4th January 2015.
It is a great experience for the whole family, children from 5 years old can enjoy an ice skating session with their parents, before or after shopping at the London Designer Outlet.
In case you haven’t been to London Designer Outlet before, it is the only outlet centre in London, offering discounts of up to 70% off on high street retailers. It also has 20 coffee shops and restaurants, including Jimmy’s World Kitchen, Frankie and Benny’s and Ping Pong, a 9 screen Cineworld cinema, and a kids’ play park.
There is something for the whole family at Wembley Park, including the Sunday market and newly launched traditional German Christmas market with handmade gifts and mulled wine.
The outdoor sparkling ice rink is located outside London Designer Outlet, in the shadow of the iconic Wembley stadium arch. and each skater gets a voucher for a free Costa hot chocolate, and we also received a voucher for a free Subway cookie.
We really enjoyed ice skating at Wembley Park, little man took Pip the Penguin for a ride, and they both enjoyed it. We will be coming soon for some more ice skating fun and also a spot of shopping at the Christmas market.
